Visit the meticulously restored Bialystoker Synagogue and hear the story of this sacred site’s role in the Underground Railroad. See the original site of the Henry Street Settlement and learn about the critical role played by settlement houses played in this community. Lower East Side Synagogues Led by an experienced guide, these tours meet at the Lower East Side Jewish Conservancy, 235 East Broadway, between Clinton and Montgomery streets.
