Starring Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, John Tutoro, and Cate Blanchet. A man loses his daughter in a program in an unamed eastern European country. He moves to America and makes it big in Hollywood. Meanwhile, his daughter is rescued and brought up in England. The daughter becomes an opera singer in Paris, and then flees when the Nazis invaded Paris. She finds her father in America and sings the lullaby he used to sing to her when she was a little girl.
