07:00 PM - 09:00 PM Join Shir Hadash Reconstructionist Synagogue as we celebrate the summer skies at a special Sabbath worship service and stargazing program on Friday, May 11, 2008, at 7:00 pm at Ryerson Woods Forest Preserve in Riverwoods. All are welcome. We will meet outside Ryerson Woods' Brushwood Estate. “Shabbat and the Stars” is an opportunity to combine worship with nature. Services will be outdoors under the setting sun. Following services, we will join the Skokie Valley Astonomers Organization for a presentation on the Summer Skies and then gaze upwards through telescopes at the summer constellations.
