Get Inside Tips on Jewish Holiday Baking from a Delightful Pair of Pros. Thursday, September 18 from 6 to 8 pm Learn High Holiday recipes and techniques from Chicago's finest Jewish Kitchen Divas. Chefs Laura Frankel and Ina Pinkney (who are as sweet as apples and honey, and just a little bit tart) will demonstrate traditional holiday specialties as well as some tasty new twists. Guests will get to taste the Chefs’ creations, and will go home with copies of the featured recipes.
Chef Laura Frankel is Executive Chef for Wolfgang Puck at Spertus, Chicago's most noted kosher chef, and founder of the innovative Shallots restaurants. She is the author of Jewish Cooking for All Seasons, and has a second cookbook scheduled for publication next year.
Known as the "Breakfast Queen," Ina Pinkney is a remarkable chef and entrepreneur who has been a vocal advocate for sustainable and healthy cuisine. Like her West Loop restaurant, Ina's, she is a true Chicago treasure.
