Moral Rights: Jewish Roots, American Law and Global Implications A CLE course co-sponsored by the DePaul University College of Law's Center for Jewish Law & Judaic Studies (JLJS) and the DePaul University College of Law Center for Intellectual Property Law and Information Technology (Ciplit). Professor Roberta R. Kwall will discuss the doctrine of moral rights which involves recognition for the personal—as opposed to the economic—rights of authors. The focus will be on the Jewish roots of the law from a theological standpoint, as well as the U.S. and international implications of the doctrine.
