Laurence Stern will be presenting a program about President Franklin Roosevelt and the Jews on January 17, 2011 at 7:00 pm at Congregation Beth Shalom, 772 West 5th Avenue in Naperville. He will be presenting information about the decision not to bomb the concentraton camps, anti-Semetism in the US State Department and the virtuous activities of Rabbi Steven Wise and Eleanor Roosevelt. Mr. Stern will also augment his presentationwith a disply of historic photographs, newspaper and magazine articles and political buttons.
