The Jewish Museum Milwaukee will open a new exhibit, "The Children of Israel Journeyed: Selections from the Chagall Bible Series," on March 6, 2011. The event includes twenty-one etchings on Biblical subjects by Marc Chagall, on loan from the Haggerty Museum of Art at Marquette University, and will be displayed in close proximity to the monumental Chagall tapestry which hangs in the Museum atrium. The exhibit will close June 6. An opening event on March 6 will include a musical performance, refreshments and exhibit tours.
