Sunday, April 3rd -- Hike Great Falls/Billy Goat Path. Join us for a moderate 6 mile hike in Great Falls Park on the Maryland side. Our itinerary will include the scenic Overlook Trail (which is NOT the one which goes to the Falls), the scenic but challenging Billy Goat Path (or alternatively the C&O towpath), and finally the overlook of Great Falls itself. Meet at 11:00AM at Great Falls, Maryland side, in front of the museum building (next to the first lock downstream from the parking lot). Transportation from Bethesda Metro can be arranged at least 2 days in advance. Please bring lunch and at least a quart of water. $5/vehicle entrance fee for the park.
