A giant Zumba group fitness class and free fitness advice from personal trainers highlights the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center’s fitness open house on Sunday, January 12. From 8-11am, there will be an ongoing Zumba class in the gym with a DJ, free TRX drop-in classes, and crafts and movement activities for kids in the children’s gym. Participants are encouraged to bring children’s clothing or a child’s coat to donate to Cradles to Crayons. The event is free and open to the public. The JCC is located at 333 Nahanton Street in Newton.
