International coaches work with children ages 3-5 years to improve their soccer skills and develop self-confidence at a six-week soccer class at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton. Classes are offered Sundays beginning June 22 from 12-12:45pm. Sessions include warm-ups, activities and games, positive reinforcement and a low child-to-coach ratio. Cost for six-week class is $160. Each child receives a free t-shirt. Open to the entire community. Classes also available to children ages 2 and 5-7 years, and are offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the summer.
