B'nai B'rith international's Center for Jewish Culture and Magen David Sephardic Congregation present an evening of film and fun Join us for a showing of "The Last Greeks on Broome Street" Enjoy Greek Dancing Live Greek Music Greek Desserts A personal exploration of filmmaker Ed Askinazi's heritage doubles as a fascinating glimpse into this little-known community of Greek Jews, also known as Romaniotes-with 2,000 years of history-and their own language. Neither Sephardic nor Ashkenazi, Romaniotes are descendants of Jewish slaves.
