Don’t miss this special musical event with Barry Louis Polisar, the composer of “All I Want is You” in the Oscar-winning, indie movie Juno. You will no doubt remember the opening sequence that features this song, which Barry originally published in 1977.
It shows how Barry’s music is not only for children and their parents, but for all those who have ever been children. In between gigs at the Kennedy Center and Smithsonian, you may have heard his music on Sesame Street and his Emmy Award-winning television show Field Trips. This event is a rare opportunity to hear him perform and talk about his latest book, A Passover Haggadah Explained, an inclusive approach to capture the holiday’s spirit. Associate Publisher of Moment Magazine, Karin Tanabe, will interview Barry as he brings his refreshing music and unusual stories to the stage. There will be a reception and signing following the performance. Tickets are $6 each and may be purchased here or at the door, 30 minutes prior to the start of the program.
