III Understanding State and Federal Grants

Cost: $59 per session or $150 for all three sessions. All sessions are from 6 to 9 pm call 312.322.1726 for more information. This workshop is designed for nonprofit executives, program administrators, and staff or volunteers who have basic knowledge of the grant writing process, and want to access state and/or federal funds for programs and services. This workshop includes information on RFPs (Requests for Proposals), how to complete applications, and how these applications are assessed and reviewed. Instructor Dr. Karin Baird teaches in the Master of Science in Nonprofit Management (MSNM) Program at Spertus College. She teaches Social Policy, Fundraising, and Grant Writing. Dr. Baird has been teaching grant writing since the mid-1990s.
