Travel from Dixieland to be-bop and beyond with master archivist Mark Cantor’s rare film selections. Longtime jazz fans and newcomers alike will delight in three evenings of historical jazz performances on film. Cab Calloway and the Kings of the Cotton Club Celebrate Cab’s 100th birthday year by revisiting the fabulous Cotton Club of the 1920s and 1930s, when jazz ruled the day and the nightclubs. Catch clips of Calloway onstage, as well as Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Bill “Bojangles” Robinson, Lena Horne and many more.
