All ages; children must be accompanied by an adult at all times

Performance and Storytelling

ORQUESTA KEF—Groove to Hanukkah Argentina-style as Buenos Aires' Orquesta Kef makes its West Coast debut at the Skirball. The lively septet, which takes its name from the Hebrew word for "fun," infuses traditional Jewish songs with the energy of ska, milonga, and other Latin American styles. Be there for a fast-paced dance party you'll never forget! (11:15 a.m., 12:45 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:15 p.m.)

MARIACHI GUADALAJARA—One of L.A.'s favorite strolling mariachi groups livens up the festivities with classic mariachi tunes and holiday standards with a twist. (10:45 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m.)

KAREN GOLDEN WITH KINETIC THEORY—Kinetic Theory's dazzling troupe of acrobats, belly dancers, and contortionists brings life to an imaginative re-telling of the Hanukkah story, adapted by acclaimed storyteller Karen Golden and set to irresistible Latin rhythms. (11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m.)

Drop-In Workshops (open all day)

THE ART OF PAPEL PICADO—Make colorful paper cut-outs and learn more about this artistic tradition, which dates back centuries in both Mexican and Jewish cultures.

TIN-ART MILAGROS—Named after the Spanish word for "miracles," tin-art milagros adorn homes across the Americas. Create brightly painted tin-art milagros to illustrate the "great miracle" of Hanukkah.

HANUKKAH LOTERÍA CARDS—Lotería is a popular Mexican game of chance. Craft your own set of cards inspired by the folk-art style of lotería, using timeless symbols of Hanukkah.
