We already hiked the Northern Trail that is south of the meeting place. Currently, the upper northern trail is only halfway done. We will have to walk through the neighborhoods to get to the park for part of the way. The route is 3.5 miles one way or 7 miles round trip. If anyone wants to do only 3.5 miles, we can stage a car at the Mt. Mitchell Scenic Overlook Park. Mt. Mitchell Scenic Overlook Park 9-11 Memorial is one of the two largest and most artistic 9-11 Memorials in NJ. There are beautiful views of Sandy Hook, Sandy Hook Bay and the NY Skyline.

Come for as much of the day as you want. If you are only coming for part of the day, please let me know when to expect you. This is a kid friendly event. Bring a picnic lunch, water, sunscreen and sunglasses. THERE IS A $5 NONPAID MEMBER FEE.
