Photographs by Norman Gershman In Association with the Albanian community of Southern California and the Muslim Youth Symposium of America Monday, May 2, 2011 at 7:00pm Through subtle portraiture and personal stories by rescuers renowned photographer Norman Gershman communicates the honor, faith and altruism of Albanian Muslims who saved Jews during the Holocaust. An exhibition of Righteous Albanian Muslims who saved Jews in WWII was first honored at Yad Vashem in Jerusalem and then the United Nations. This expanded exhibition was produced by Hebrew Union College – Jewish Institute of Religion Museum, New York. The exhibition runs through August 19, 2011 No charge. RSVP required.
