IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A GPS Device, PRINT OUT THE Mapquest Directions AND TAKE THEM WITH YOU AS WELL. We will meet at the entranceway to the park at the park ranger's station at 10:00. At 3:30, we will go to the Warrenville Balloon Festival and Warren County Farmer's Fair, 130 Strykers Road, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865, 908-454-3431 908-454-3431 , www.http://www.warrencountyfarmersfair.org/balloonfest.html. The cost is $6/adult, $4/kids 5-12 and free for children under 5. If you would like to take an unteathered balloon ride, the cost is $195, 908-454-3431 908-454-3431 , www.njballoonrides.com. There are also teathered balloon rides for $10 between 4pm-8pm. Besides the farmer's fair, there will also be a Traditional Arts Expo with the United Quilt Show, Lot Art Lacers of North Jersey and Lois Mackik, Handweaver.

At 6:30, the balloon launch will begin with 30-40 balloons. There will be a balloon race, called the Hare and Hound races. We will also be crewing a balloon (helping to set up the balloon behind the scenes and seeing how it is done-really fun last year!).

This is a kid friendly event. There is a nonmember/unpaid member fee of $5. Pack: sunscreen, bug spray, swimsuit, towel, beach blanket, beach umbrella, beach chair, lunch, dinner, snacks, aquashoes and water. Come for as much of the day as you want, however, if you are coming for only part of the day, please let me know when to expect you.
