Lecture Series-Seen through a Social Lens: The Work of New York’s Photo League, 1936–1951 Monday, December 7 at 11:30 am Ordinary and Extraordinary: The Photography of Lisette Model, Aaron Siskind and Weegee A discussion of the wide range of subjects covered by three of the Photo League’s best-known members, from the lurid crime scene photos of Weegee to the glamour (or anti-glamour) of Lisette Model to the abstractions of Aaron Siskind. Richard Turnbull is the Chair and Assistant Professor of Art History at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
