Monday, December 12 Lecture Series-Seen through a Social Lens: The Work of New York’s Photo League, 1936–1951 Monday, December 12 at 11:30 am Beyond the Photo League: Social Documentary Photography in Post-War America An examination of the legacy of the Photo League following its dissolution in 1951. This lecture considers the work of Robert Frank, Diane Arbus and other post-war photographers who worked within the realm of the subjective documentary image.
