Jews and Justice: Past, Present, and Future w/the Jewish Study Center 7 p.m. at Sixth & I Historic Synagogue, 600 I Street NW, Washington DC (Metro: Gallery Place). With the approach of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, let us revisit the involvement of Jews in the civil rights movement in America. How extensive was it? And was it for the right reasons? What is its significance in understanding the nature of American Jewish identity?
