International security systems expert Ofer Zmiri will discuss the challenges and opportunities for Israel in the new Middle East at Congregation Kehillath Israel (384 Harvard Street) in Brookline on Thursday, April 11 from 2-4pm.
International security systems expert Ofer Zmiri will discuss the challenges and opportunities for Israel in the new Middle East at Congregation Kehillath Israel (384 Harvard Street) in Brookline on Thursday, April 11 from 2-4pm. Zmiri is the chief executive of a security consulting firm and a professor of international terrorism and homeland security at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. He helped create the renowned Israeli Aviation Security System and established the security system at Israel’s Ben Gurion International Airport.
The talk is part of the JCC Without Walls program, a collaboration of Congregation Kehillath Israel, the Jewish Community Centers of Greater Boston, Temple Ohabei Shalom and Young Israel of Brookline to serve the needs of senior adults, with funding by Combined Jewish Philanthropies.
