A Lecture by Dr. Michael Rich, aka “The Mediatrician”
The Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton will be hosting a lecture by Dr. Michael Rich, aka “The Mediatrician” on Wednesday, November 13 (7:30pm) for parents interested in the impact of technology on children and families. Tablets, cell phones and interactive “apps” and video games are now a ubiquitous part of family life. Is this good or bad? How much should a parent encourage or limit screen time? Dr. Michael Rich, a parent, pediatrician and associate professor at Harvard Medical School will share resources and strategies to help raise happy and healthy kids.

Cost is $10. Register online at www.bostonjcc.org/technology or contact 617-558-6414.

The JCC is open to the entire community.
