Dr. Amer Araim, professor of Politics of the Middle Eat at Diablo Valley College, will be the featured speaker at the Yom Kippur observance of Tri-Valley Cultural Jews. The observance consists of readings and music, the guest speaker, and a memorial ceremony. Dr. Araim will discuss the history of the middle east, illuminating how the area came to be as it is today.
