Award-winning journalist Jennifer Senior and local author Carla Naumburg, PhD, will discuss their recent parenting books at the Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton on Tuesday, November 4 at 7:30pm. Senior’s All Joy and No Fun: The Paradox of Modern Parenthood, illustrates the many ways children have reshaped their parents’ lives. Naumburg’s Parenting in the Present Moment reveals what she believes truly matters in parenting – connecting with children in ways that are meaningful to them, staying grounded and being present.
