The Leventhal-Sidman Jewish Community Center (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton will offer a nine-week Pilates class on Mondays, beginning October 19, from 9:30-10:20am. Pilates on the Ball is a full body workout that builds core strength, balance and coordination while increasing flexibility. Using large Swiss balls, bands and weights, participants will engage in a variety of demanding and fun movements based on Pilates and weight lifting exercises. Open to the entire community.
