Capital Kehillah holds services at Sixth & I on the second Friday of each month. Its instrumental service, conducted in English and Hebrew, mixes the traditional with the contemporary. New interpretations of familiar prayers follows the gender-sensitive prayer book, Gates of Prayer. With the musical talents of Sariel Ende, soloist; Mark Suresh, drummer; Yakir Jeremy, guitarist and Rabbi Tamara Miller, the Capital Kehillah creates an atmosphere of joyful celebration and spiritual nourishment. The CK community is welcoming and accessible to people of all ages. The May 11 service will be followed by dinner; tickets are $15 each.
