Dedicated to preserving the work of Moshe Beregovsky, a Soviet-Jewish ethnomusicologist, Svigals brings to life, through music and conversation, tunes from Beregovsky's collection Popular Jewish Instrumental Music, which was recorded on wax cylinders before World War II and includes 17,000 works that were lost when Beregovsky was exiled to Siberia.
