Kehilat Hanahar’S Annual Chanukah celebration

Lights UP THE Holiday Seasonnew HOPE – Kehilat HaNahar, the Little Shul by the River, will host a musical Chanukah service and menorah lighting on the fourth night of this eight-day “Festival of Lights.” Singer and guitarist Kathy Gohr will join Rabbi Sandy Roth in leading this service, which will include traditional and contemporary Chanukah songs. As part of the evening, the synagogue will continue its long-standing tradition of inviting each family that attends to kindle the candles of a favorite menorah. The Shul has been bathed in the glowing warmth of dozens of hanukiyot. Participants also will feast on Jelly Donuts.
