Nothing is Hiding – Recent Paintings and Drawings Nov. 29 – Jan. 18, 2008 Throughout most of the 1990’s, William Stockman was one of Denver's most prominent visual artists – actively sought by private and institutional collectors and the recipient of consistently glowing critical attention. His enigmatic, surrealist-expressionist paintings were known for their psychological complexity, their ravishing mytho-poetic imagery and their extraordinary technical accomplishment. For close to a decade, Stockman stopped almost all of his artistic production. Recently he began making art once again. Nothing is Hiding is his first exhibition in nearly 10 years.
