Tifereth Israel is an important center of Jewish life in Eastern San Diego. Read our Mission Statement. Our congregational community has something for everyone, from our excellent Silverman Preschool and Abraham Ratner Torah School, to our United Synagogue Youth programs and extensive Adult Education classes. We are the only synagogue with a full orchestra, the Tifereth Israel Community Orchestra (TICO), and TICO's concerts are just one example of our many cultural events throughout the year.
