Thu 1 Mar to Sun 8 Apr. This inspiring exhibition tells the extraordinary story of Janusz Korczak (1878-1942), a Polish-Jewish doctor, educator and children's author who devoted his life to establishing and defining the rights of the child. Refusing all offers for his own rescue, Korczak ultimately chose to accompany the orphans to their death in the Treblinka concentration camp. The universalism of Korczak's message and the effect of his teachings on modern thinking are examined in the exhibition, which highlights the treatment of children today. 129-131 Albert Street, Camden Town, London, NW1 7NB. Thu 1 Mar, 7:30 pm. Music and Lyrics by Mark Hollman. Book and Lyrics by Greg Kotis. One of the most uproariously funny musicals in recent years, Urinetown is a tale of greed, corruption, love, and revolution in a time when water is worth its weight in gold. In a Gotham-like city, a terrible water shortage, caused by a 20-year draught, has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities, regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity's most basic needs. Amid the people, a hero plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom. Tickets are: $12 m, $18 nm, $10 senior m, $16 senior nm, $8 children students, and $10 each for groups of 10 or more. Sat 3 Mar, 8 pm. Music and Lyrics by Mark Hollman. Book and Lyrics by Greg Kotis. One of the most uproariously funny musicals in recent years, Urinetown is a tale of greed, corruption, love, and revolution in a time when water is worth its weight in gold. Amid the people, a hero plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom. Tickets are: $12 m, $18 nm, $10 senior m, $16 senior nm, $8 children students, and $10 each for groups of 10 or more. Sun 4 Mar, 2:30 pm.
