In fact, according to the Talmud, dance is an obligation. In this multimedia program, Judith Brin Ingber reveals the role of dance in Judaism. With rare illustrations and musical excerpts, she reveals dance traditions and transformations in places such as Ethiopia, Morocco, Yemen, Germany, Russia and Israel. Following the Q&A, Ms. Brin Ingber will lead Sephardic and Ashkenazic wedding dances for those interested in learning them.
