the Mexico and Central America Hall at the American Museum of Natural History Ditra Walsh View examples of art discussed in the classes, followed by an optional Mexican lunch at Gabriella's. Prerequisite: Attendance at two of the previous sessions. The museum admission fee is only suggested; pay what you wish. Buy your ticket on arrival at the museum (opens 10 am) and meet the group at 10:30 am near the members' admission desk. After the gallery tour, participate in further discussion over lunch. Museum admission fee and cost of optional lunch are extra. The artisans of ancient Mexico created magnificent sculpture, ceramics, murals, jewelry, carvings, pictorial manuscripts and architectural detail. They were not created as art per se, but as ritual object
