Between 9/11 and the Iran NIE Tuesday April 8, 2008 • 7:30 P.M. 9/11 exposed major flaws in U.S. knowledge and understanding of the Islamic world, and set in motion attempts at reform. The National Intelligence Estimate of Iran's nuclear policy clearly shows that these flaws not only persist, but that they span a much wider spectrum.
