Brief Biography
Deadra Hart is regarded by fellow jazz singers as a dynamic improviser who interprets a lyric with sincerity and a beautiful sense of style, Deadra has a unique, crystal-clear voice that breathes new life into music. She is currently a music faculty member at the 92nd Street Y, Kilroy Productions Music Studios and a teaching artist with the Jazz Project in conjunction with the Kupferberg Center for the Arts. Deadra has been praised by critics and musicians alike as "a woman who sings with sophistication" (Cincinnati Post) and " a superb musician with exquisite taste" (Paris Rutherford, Vocal Jazz Arranger). Jamie Reynolds is a freelance jazz pianist in New York City. He teaches group piano and private jazz piano and composition lessons at the 92nd Street Y. Jamie is very active on the jazz scene and performs regularly with Rob Scheps, Rodney Green, Chris Lightcap, Matt Wilson, Mark Rapp, and Melissa Stylianou. He has toured across Canada and the United States and can currently be found playing regularly at the Carnegie Club, the Rockwood Music Hall, Cornelia St. Cafe, and Birdland in NYC. Jamie received a Bachelor of Music degree in jazz performance from the University of Toronto.
