The Joan Leiman Jacobson Poetry Prizes are coordinated by Timothy Donnelly and Benjamin Paloff, poetry editors at Boston Review. Over the decades, this contest, formerly called the “Discovery”/The Nation poetry contest, has discovered such poets as Mark Strand, Marily Hacker, Michael Collier, Mary Jo Salter, Nick Flynn and Greg Orr.
