Israeli Folk Dance in Camp—Weekend Workshop

This intensive weekend workshop offers training for specialists who teach Israeli dance in summer camps and anyone who wants to learn new Israeli dance styles. Learn an age-appropriate repertoire for young and teen campers and adult staff and explore body movement as a vehicle for dramatic presentation, including ideas for Oneg Shabbat and Tisha B’Av. The Shabbbat program provides an understanding and appreciation of the use of dance to enhance preparation for and observance of Shabbat.
