STAND UP FOR PEACE: A TWO Comedian Solution TO PEACE IN THE Middle EAST Sunday, January 11 Standup FOR PEACE is the disarmingly funny comedy show that brings Jews and Arabs together to laugh, and encourages a dialogue in support of a peaceful resolution of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Blakeman and Obeidallah begin the show together, perform their own acts separately, and then reunite at the end for an entertaining and revealing question and answer session.

Scott Blakeman has made more than thirty national television appearances, including Comedy Central's "Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn," and "Late Show with David Letterman" on CBS. In addition, NBC-TV said Blakeman is, "The top political comedian working in New York today," and The New York Times called him, "An astute, funny political observer."

Dean Obeidallah, an award winning Palestinian-American comedian, appeared on Comedy Central's "Axis of Evil" Comedy special and is the co-creator of Comedy Central’s critically acclaimed series "The Watch List" featuring a cast of all Middle Eastern-American comedians performing stand up and sketch comedy. Dean has also appeared twice on ABC's "The View," and was one of five comedians profiled in a PBS TV Special entitled: "Stand Up: Muslim-American Comics Come of Age."
