Featuring Sarah Lindsay, Kevin McFadden and Atsuro Riley Poet Laureate Kay Ryan is "as intense and elliptical as Dickinson, as buoyant and rueful as Frost," wrote J. D. McClatchy. The author of Niagara River, Ryan carries on a Poetry Center tradition by presenting three poets at different stages in their careers. Sarah Lindsay is the author of three volumes of poetry: Primate Behavior; Mount Clutter; and Twigs and Knucklebones. The poems in Kevin McFadden’s first collection, Hardscrabble, "spring off the page like Olympic athletes," wrote David Kirby. Atsuro Riley's poems have appeared in McSweeney’s, Poetry and The Threepenny Review. His book Romey’s Order is forthcoming.
