Registration for this course begins online, on site at the Skirball, and by phone on Tuesday, March 31, at 12:00 p.m. This course offers an overview of the significant role Jews played in the history of American photography, examining why so many Jews were attracted to the photographic medium and why so few Jewish photographers looked to Jewish subjects as inspiration for their photographs.
