Learn to strengthen your relationship with your child while increasing cooperation, harmony, and happiness within the family. Research in the field of positive psychology consistently demonstrates that happy individuals are healthier and more successful in many areas of life. This interactive workshop integrates information from the fields of child psychology, developmental psychology, and positive psychology to teach unique skills and strategies that parents can use to launch their child on a path of true happiness and fulfillment. The topics of positive thinking, gratitude, communication, and virtues will be emphasized. Recommended for parents raising children who are one year or older.
Instructor: Dr. Gina Lyons, a specialist in child psychology, has worked with adults and children for thirty years, recently focusing on scientific research in the new field of positive psychology. Her goal with families is not only to improve the quality of their lives and give children the best start possible, but also to decrease the children's risk of emotional difficulties.
