The role of race in religious life will be the theme of a panel discussion, “How Our Traditions Deal with Diversity,” when Temple Jeremiah hosts the Stanley C. Golder Interfaith Lecture at 8 p.m., Sat., May 2. Moderated by Pulitzer Prize winning columnist Clarence Page, the discussion will focus on interpersonal relationships and the role of race in religious life: how we address race issues in our religious communities. Our panelists include His Eminence Francis Eugene Cardinal George, O.M.I., the Eighth Archbishop of Chicago, Imam Abdul Malik Mujahid, founding Chairman of Sound Vision Foundation, the leading producer of educational content on Islam and Muslims, and Alice Hunt, president of the Chicago Theological Seminary.
