Paul and Judaism: Ten New Perspectives

Join us for the 15th Annual Joseph Cardinal Bernardin Jerusalem Lecture, an annual program that commemorates Cardinal Bernardin's 1995 visit to Israel and continues the dialogue he advocated between Jews and Catholics on theological issues affecting their relationship. This year's lecture will be delivered by Fr. Daniel J. Harrington, professor of New Testament at the Boston College School of Theology and Ministry.

Fr. Daniel J. Harrington, SJ, PhD, has served as editor of New Testament Abstracts since 1972, as well as editor of the Sacra Pagina series of New Testament commentaries. His research focuses on Second Temple Judaism (including the Dead Sea scrolls) and the relationship between Judaism and early Christianity. His recent publications include Jesus: A Historical Portrait (2007), Meeting St. Paul Today (2008), and The Synoptic Gospels Set Free: Preaching without Anti-Judaism (2009). He is a past president of the Catholic Biblical Association.
