Genealogy is a fascinating way to study Jewish history, culture and tradition. Anyone can jump in at any time. Have your surname and ancestral village name variations handy. Be prepared to describe what you’ve done so far, and what you’d like to accomplish going forward. Wireless access will be available. There is no fee. No prior knowledge of genealogical methodology or Hebrew is necessary. This is open to the public. The Jewish Genealogical Society of Colorado (JGSCO) is a nonprofit, volunteer-led organization that holds monthly lectures and workshops in Denver and Boulder, maintains a private library collection, and provides camaraderie for researching and sharing success stories.
