The second installment in Ford’s “Cavalry Trilogy,” She Wore a Yellow Ribbon stars John Wayne as the aging US Cavalry Captain Nathan Brittles who must complete one final mission before his retirement. Brittles and his troops are ordered to squelch a reservation breakout in Arapaho, and bring the commanding officer’s wife and niece to the eastbound train.
