Set on board the historic train "Super Chief" during a journey from Chicago to Los Angeles in 1956, the book tells of three bizarre deaths that spark a plot full of twists and turns. Among Lehrer's cast of characters are a mysterious stowaway, a dying millionaire, a down-and-out director, Clark Gable, and President Harry Truman. A book signing follows the program.
