Our community partners are San Francisco African American Historical & Cultural Society, SF|Noir, AfroSolo Theatre Company and the Jazz Heritage Center Don’t miss this documentary film, which tells the story of the civil rights movement through its music. Top contemporary artists, including John Legend, Joss Stone, Wyclef Jean and The Roots perform the music sung by protesters in mass meetings, on picket lines and in jail cells. Riveting archival footage and interviews with such notables as U.S. Representative John Lewis, Julian Bond Harry Belafonte, and Ambassador Andrew Young tell the story of the struggle for civil rights. $10 Members | $15 Public | $5 Students Tuesday, Apr 5 Start: 7:00 pm
