International Music Festival Concert: Lyris Quartet Quartet-In-Residence (Community Partners) Featuring the music of: Philip Glass, Felix Mendelssohn and Alberto Ginastera. The Eighth Annual Beverly Hills International Music Festival will be coming to Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills from Saturday, August 6 through Monday, August 15. The festival will feature nine public concerts presenting a variety of musical styles ranging from the music of Jewish Composers and popular Hollywood tunes to world masterpieces.
The concerts will begin at 8:00 PM at Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills. Each evening will be a different program as Chamber Music Evening, Music of Jewish Composers, Lyris Quartet, Voice of Hollywood, and the Music of Austria. The final concert will be held on August 15 and will feature the Festival Chamber Orchestra conducted by Gregory Cherninsky.
The International music festival was founded in 2004. Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills is proud to be the new home for the festival founded by Gregory Cherninsky, Festival Artistic Director.
