February 11, 2012—07:30 PM to 10:00 PM Nehar Shalom Community Synagogue, 43 Lochstead Avenue, Boston, MA 02130 Budrus is a Palestinian village on the West Bank through which Israel's separation barrier was intended to pass. Joining with each other through a campaign of nonviolence, diverse factions of Palestinians, men and women, and Israeli allies, together bring about a rerouting of the wall and save Budrus. Following the film there will be commentary and discussion facilitated by Sa'ed Adel Atshan, a doctoral student at Harvard who grew up in Ramallah and spent the past year doing research on the West Bank.
